EARLY VOTING INFORMATION

In November of 2022, Michigan voters approved a Constitutional Amendment that allowed early in-person voting for all state and federal elections.
During early voting, voters can cast their ballot and insert it into the tabulator at the early voting site.
All voters now have the option of early voting for a nine-day period beginning the second Saturday before Election Day and ending on the Sunday before Election Day.
Voting on Election Day at Douglas City Hall and Absentee voting are still available; early voting is just one additional option for voters to cast their ballot.

statewide election dates will be held at –

Early voting will be available from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. during the nine-day period.

NOTICE: The precinct canvass of early votes will take place at Douglas City Hall on November 5, 2024 at 8:00 p.m.

NOTICE: The City Clerk will convene the Absent Voter Counting Board (AVCB) on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.
for the purpose of early tabulation of absent voter ballots received for the November 5, 2024 Presidential Election.
The Absent Voter Counting Board will consist of 4 Election Inspectors and will convene at the Douglas City Hall building
located at – 86 W. Center Street, Douglas MI 49406
This notice is posted as required by MCL 168.765a amended.

Address Confidentiality Program Act, Public Act 301 of 2020, MCL 780 851 et seqAn ACT to create the address confidentiality program; to provide certain protections for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking and for certain other individuals; to prescribe duties and responsibilities of certain state departments; to require the promulgation of rules; to create a fund; to prohibit the disclosure of certain information and obtaining a certification under this act by frau; and to prescribe penalties.
