The City of the Village of Douglas is now represented in the Senate by District 38. Each registered voter with the city will receive a new ID Card. Please contact the City Clerk if your mailing address is incorrect, you did not receive your id card, you do not get mail delivered by Fennville Post Office, or you have moved away.

August 2 State Primary – 2022
July 26th – Deadline to file Affidavit of Identity and a nonpartisan nominating petition to appear on the November ballot. Withdrawal deadline elapses at 4:00 p.m. (168.303; 389.152)
July 18th – Last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk for the August primary. (168.497)
July 19th through August 2nd – In-person registration with local clerk with proof of residency. (168.497)
NOMINATING PETITIONS are now available for the office of Douglas City Council for the November 8, 2022, General Election. Four (4) non-partisan positions will be filled for terms of two-years each. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen, a registered elector in the City and shall have been a resident of the City for not less than one (1) year. (per Sect. 3.3 of the City Charter). Petitions can be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office, 86 W. Center Street, Douglas, MI., Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
THE FILING DEADLINE IS JULY 26, 2022, AT 4:00 P.M.
November 8 General Election – 2022
